Saw on Xiaohongshu that QClaw (OpenClaw of Tencent version) has opened for trial—no invitation code required and no longer restricted by operating system. So I quickly installed the QClaw Windows version and uninstalled WorkBuddy. I tried QClaw mainly to see how the experience is inside the WeChat mobile app. A few points that shocked me:
Extremely slow to respond
Sending a “hello” to QClaw takes ages to get a reply.
I observed that after sending a message from WeChat on my phone, QClaw on Windows doesn’t receive the instruction until more than ten seconds later…
Putting the model’s capabilities aside, this network response speed is also utterly unacceptable. Is this still a Tencent product that supposedly has strict requirements for service response speed?
Poor stability
I asked QClaw to go online and check the CPU model of Xiaomi’s newly released laptop, and then this thing fired off dozens of query requests in sequence, constantly requesting data from various news sites, and then this task inexplicably disappeared… No error message, and no history…

WeChat app lacks effort
I expected QClaw to appear on the primary contacts/chat list, but it was tucked away inside a secondary customer-service messages menu.

Was that necessary? Would you put your work partner into a collapsed chat list?
Very disappointing! I’ll stick to using my Github Copilot CLI honestly — writing my own logic is better than this.
